A true pioneer in his field, Marc was working in IT before computer science degrees even existed!
When he brought his talents to Ad Hoc in 2024 after a 40-year career at several large institutions, his legendary reputation as a crash-prevention superhero was already well established.
His philosophy, "automate and standardize", or as he likes to say, "everything everywhere the same," was inspired by the film Pink Floyd The Wall and its iconic hammer dance. One command line "to rule them all"! We can clearly see he’s a movie buff.
Nothing makes Marc happier than listening to the calm silence of servers not crashing in the evening, allowing him to cherish precious family time or reminisce about his past as an F1 champion on PC.
